Meet the Founder

Edna Beech is the Founder and Executive Director of Golden Horizons Adventures and Care, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of seniors, retirees, and veterans through companionship, nutritious meals, transportation assistance, wellness activities, and meaningful social engagement.

With several years of hands-on experience working with seniors in community-based programs, Edna has witnessed firsthand the challenges many older adults face, including loneliness, food insecurity, limited mobility, and social isolation. Through her work coordinating senior activities, meal programs, recreational outings, and community engagement opportunities, she developed a deep passion for helping older adults remain active, connected, and valued.

Driven by compassion and a commitment to service, Edna founded Golden Horizons Adventures and Care to create opportunities for seniors and veterans to experience friendship, dignity, adventure, and support. Her vision is to build a community where no senior or veteran feels forgotten, invisible, or disconnected from the world around them.

Through strong leadership, community partnerships, and an unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life, Edna continues to advocate for programs that promote wellness, belonging, and meaningful human connection for older adults throughout Georgia.
